Copenhagen - Psychedelics In Africa; The Untold Story

Tuesday, May 20, 2025, 5:30 PM-8:30 PM

Track 10 Vasbygade 10 Copenhagen V , 1719 Denmark

Directly from his latest trip to Africa: Darren Le Baron presents his first lecture in Denmark with new psychedelic discoveries and research.

After three months in southern Africa among the San Bushmen, Zulu and Himba people, Darren returns to share his insights and revisit his popular series “Psychedelics in Africa: The Untold Story.”

In this series, we delve into the ancient history, mythology, and scientific studies surrounding the psychoactive plants and mushrooms found in Africa. For millennia, Africa's indigenous people have used these powerful natural remedies for spiritual and communal development—a practice that remains largely overlooked in modern research.

This presentation connects both African and diasporic cultures and presents valuable knowledge with academic references.
